Eminem Smashes WA Record, But Crown Still Belongs To Adele

Eminem’s first-ever Perth show was a dead-set record-breaker.

On Wednesday night, the Real Slim Shady stood up to the tune of 60,500 fans – surpassing Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift to be the biggest concert ever held at the venue.

Eminem’s set was riddled with heavy-hitters, including Stan, Without Me, Lose Yourself and The Real Slim Shady.

“I’ve never been here before, this is my first time,” he said.

“You are all making me feel very welcome...We don’t like flying, we stayed on the plane for 20-something hours just to see you.”

However, the one to beat overall is still Adele. Her 2017 show at Subi Oval attracted 65,000.

Concerts aside, the biggest sporting crowd pulled at Optus Stadium was 59,608 where AFL fans flocked to see West Coast (121) absolutely cane Melbourne (55).
