Adele SNAPS Grammy Award In Half, Gives Half To Beyonce

If you were watching the GRAMMYs yesterday, no doubt you would have known the race for the biggest award, Album of the Year was always going to go to Adele or Beyonce.

The race was tight, and in the end, it was Adele who took the coveted award, which, she couldn’t believe herself.

In an emotional speech, Adele declared that the award really belonged to Beyonce, who was sitting a few feet away in the front row.

“I can’t possibly accept this award,” a tearful Adele announced.

“I’m very grateful and very gracious, but my artist of my life is Beyonce, and this album for me ... the Lemonade album was so monumental, well thought out and so beautiful and soul-baring. We all got to see another side to you that you don’t always let us see, and we appreciate that. All us artists here f**king adore you,” she said,

“You are our light. The way you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel, is empowering. You make them stand up for themselves, and I love you. I always have, and I always will,” she told Beyonce, who herself was fighting back tears.

She then SNAPPED the award in HALF, in a dramatic dedication to Bey. Gee, don’t you know they don’t come cheap, lady?!

Backstage, Adele was more, let’s say… candid, with her comments about why Beyonce didn’t win the big award.
