Ariana Grande’s Mum Was One Of The Terror Attack Heroes
Yesterday in Manchester is a day that will forever be etched in our memory.
It’s the day a pop concert, full of young fans was targeted by a deranged psychopath. A man who wanted to prey on innocence in its purest form.
But, as many have commented, with the utmost evil, also comes good, and that was demonstrated in the form of emergency workers off-duty nurses and medics who gave up their time and service to help those affected by the attack. Another unsung hero of the night, was Ariana Grande’s own mother, Joan Grande.
Joan was seated in the front row of the arena, and is reported to have spent time helping escort young fans out of the venue. She reportedly jumped up and assisted taking some of the panicked teenagers backstage.
Witnesses in the arena told American news site TMZ that she was surrounded by several concert-goers who were waiting to leave the arena when they heard the explosion.
She and members of Ariana's security took around 10 fans backstage and waited with them until they were able to safely exit the arena.
Ariana tweeted about her heartache as the shocking events of last night unfolded.
