Details Have Been Released About Demi Lovato's Condition

News broke yesterday that Demi Lovato had OD’d – allegedly on heroin.

The official statement was: “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”

More details have come out overnight.. a nurse reportedly told police the drug she took was actually meth.

The party she threw at her house the night before was an all nighter.. and when first responders arrived  they saw drug paraphernalia but there weren’t enough drugs left to test for what she might’ve taken. Her friends administered Narcan (which reverses the effects of an OD), but everyone was uncooperative when it came to explaining what had happened.

She also forgot the lyrics to her song Sober two days before she OD’d

Apparently she released that song so that she and her fans could work through her relapse together, almost like it would make her accountable because everyone else knew about her struggle too.

In more positive news, this whole situation has been a wake up call for Demi, and she’s determined to be sober again. “Demi feels like she has let a lot of people down, including herself, but she's confident she won't let her addiction win, she will come out on top."

We’re also now hearing from Demi’s long term ex-bf, Wilmer Valderrama.

These guys were together for 6 years..  and friends say he is ‘beside himself’.

"Wilmer is completely devastated and he still loves Demi and it was just a matter of scheduling and time that they needed to make a romantic relationship work. He was not aware that her issues were this severe and intense at this time. Her friends and him are just hoping that she gets better and that she can be great and thrive."

They seemed really in love.. it’s so sad.

Ariana Grande's mother also released words of healing and a warning to trolls.

We hope that Demi can get back on the path to sobriety after this close call.
