Ed Sheeran Fans Are Raging Over Yesterday's Pre-Sale

If you were screaming at your computer with frustration while trying to buy Ed Sheeran tickets yesterday – rest assured, you’re not alone!

Furious fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations after missing out on the pre-sale after the Ticketek site crashed.

Punters have described spending hours unsuccessfully trying to purchase the tickets to his 2018 tour, only for the site crash mid-purchase. That is if they even got that far.

Ticketek struggled to keep up with the complaints that flooded their social feeds, telling fans to “keep trying”.

Unfortunately, the struggle to buy tickets didn’t stop the scalpers.

Immediately after the sale, tickets to Sheeran’s Divide tour were being resold for as much as $1000.

When you consider tickets cost just $70 to $160, it’s enough to make your blood boil.

However, before you consider dropping the extra cash, be warned: Ed hates scalpers, so there’s a good chance those tickets will be cancelled before you make it through the gates.

For those who did miss out, at least there is a second chance.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on May 23. Let’s hope the site holds up this time.
