Electric Gardens returns this summer with an all-star line-up showcasing the very best of electronic music - including Erick Morillo, Eats Everything, Paul Van Dyk, Bag Raiders live, Set Mo, and an absolutely unmissable set from SIGMA - complete with live vocalists!!
One of Britain's biggest electronic music exports, multi-platinum selling DJ and production duo Sigma were the only group to have back-to-back UK No.1 singles in the form of ‘Nobody To Love’ and ‘Changing’ (featuring Paloma Faith) in 2014.
Since their iconic breakthrough club-crossover “Rudeboy” the London pair have gone on to enjoy 10 consecutive Radio 1 playlist singles, sold over 600,000 copies of their debut album 'LIFE', and performed at the likes of Brixton's O2 Academy, Glastonbury, and EDC Las Vegas.
With the duo bringing their rich chord patterns and melodic baselines to numerous festivals and events in 2018, including SW4, Creamfields, various Ibiza slots at Amnesia's ‘Together' Sigma's Live set is a massive exciting addition to Electric Gardens Festival
Plus, don't miss the massive the Amnesia arena, with trademark Ibiza sound and production, beaming lasers, and a barrage of ice cannons never before seen in Australia.
Following his electrifying 2016 Electric Gardens performance, Erick Morillo, the platinum-selling artist and Subliminal Records head-honcho will be back with a bang in 2019. Igniting the party wherever he goes, the superstar DJ will be showing Australia exactly why he’s still top of the game after more than 20 years in the biz, bringing the glitz and glamour of Miami, Ibiza and beyond to our shores. With tracks ‘I Like To Move It, ‘Believe’, and ‘I Feel Love’ under his belt, the mix meister extraordinaire has remixed everyone from Whitney Houston to Basement Jaxx and has collaborated with Puff Daddy, Jamie Jones and Boy George alike.
The technical wizard, Eats Everything will be rounding off the bill of international heavyweights hitting all four garden venues. The UK's finest house and techno export will be taking centre stage for a festival set like no other. Having played the likes of Coachella, Awakenings Festival and Movement in Detroit, the seasoned Ibiza resident will be pumping out the house, disco and techno feels which have made him a firm favourite of the Elrow family the world over.
Next up is Aussie electronic duo Bag Raiders, who are headed homeward bound for their first series of live shows after an extended hiatus. With a new album poised for release in 2019, revellers will be able to enjoy a sneak preview of their latest floor-filling offering and celebrate 10 years since ‘Shooting Stars’ catapulted the boys to global stardom.
Not content with releasing a new track every month throughout 2018, local legends, Set Mo, are starting 2019 as they mean to go on, promising punters an epic festival performance at Electric Gardens. Joining the lads on stage and completing the EG2019 touring party is an all-girl-line-up of live vocalists, Woodes, Asta and Thandi Phoenix - Set Mo collaborators past and present. Known for their marathon stints behind the decks as well as their game-changing productions, ‘White Dress’, ‘I Belong Here’ and ‘Nightmares’, Sydneysiders Nick Drabble and Stu Turner cite Booka Shade and Groove Armada as inspo for their varied sounds.
