Justin Bieber Makes His Return To Instagram
Justin Bieber made his return to Instagram on Friday, after a six-month hiatus.
The 22-year-old pop star reactivated his account to promote his Super Bowl ad for T-Mobile, which will air during the game on Monday (AEST).
The post shows the ‘Sorry’ singer dancing alongside NFL stars Rob ‘Gronk’ Gronkowski and Terrell Owens, to recreate the history of touchdown celebrations.
JB deleted his account in August after his page was trolled over his relationship with then ‘girlfriend’ Sofia Richie.
He had warned fans he would make his account private when haters began leaving rude comments about Sofia, 18.
Then Justin’s ex Selena Gomez added her two-cents worth about the whole situation, and criticised him for drawing unnecessary attention to his relationship.
“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol — it should be special between you two only,” the “Kill ‘em With Kindness” singer commented. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”
In a drastic move, Biebs then shut his account that boasts 77 million followers, down completely.
He then dissed the social media site, telling the audience during a London show in November:
"Who thinks I should get my Instagram back? Nah, I don't want to get my Instagram back. Instagram is for the devil. I'm sure … I think hell is Instagram. I'm, like, 90 percent sure. We get sent to hell and we get, like, locked in the Instagram server. Like, I'm stuck in the DMs. I'm trying to climb my way out and I can't."
Despite the drama, we’re so glad he’s back. Instagram just hasn’t quite been the same without him. And by 'him' I mean those abs...
