Keith Urban, one of music’s most innovative and progressive artists has done it again – debuting at #1 on the ARIA Album chart for the third consecutive time with his album RIPCORD.

Ripcord's success follows a #1 ARIA Album chart debut for 2013’s ‘Fuse’, which debuted at #1 simultaneously in Australia, the United States and Canada, and 2012’s ‘The Story So Far’.

Said Urban, “Damn Oz! An amazing feeling to hear that Ripcord is #1. Massive thanks to everyone who made this possible and so psyched for the tour in December!”

Urban worked with a new and eclectic mix of award-winning writers and co-producers on Ripcord, including Jeff Bhasker (Bruno Mars, Kanye West), busbee (P!nk), Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry) and Nile Rodgers (Chic, David Bowie, Pharrell Williams), as well as those who Urban has worked with before – Shane McAnally, Ross Cooperman, Dann Huff and Nathan Chapman.

Ripcord features Grammy Award winning artist Carrie Underwood on the much talked about song ‘The Fighter’ – which excitingly reached the Top 5 on iTunes Australia over the weekend, and Pitbull on the song ‘Sun Don’t Let Me Down’ (listen below).

RIPCORD also features lead single ‘Wasted Time’ co-written and co-produced by Urban (watch below).
