Mel B Wins Court Battle Over Ex-Husband To Stop Sex Tapes
After recently, last month, divorcing her husband Stephen Belafonte of ten years, former Spice Girl Mel B has won a court order banning him from releasing sexually explicit material.
News.com.au reports that the divorce battle took a dark turn this week, with Mel B filing for a restraining order to keep Belafonte away from her.
Mel claims he would "regularly hold up his phone to me and point to a video file and say, ‘It’s just one click away,’ meaning that with one click he could send out a video and my career would be over," according to News.com.au.
But Belafonte denies these allegations that he threatened to go public with any saucy footage, according to TMZ.
Further, up to 12 to 15 boxes of these 'personal belongings' were reportedly taken by Belafonte from the garage of the family home after Mel filed for divorce.
TMZ reports Belafonte put the boxes in a storage locker under the name of the former family nanny, Lorraine Gilles, who he is accused of having a fling with and getting pregnant.
Mel's attorneys asked the judge to force Belafonte to give them access to the storage facility holding the boxes, which are reportedly held under the name of the former family nanny, Lorraine Gilles, who Belafonte is accused of having a fling with and getting pregnant. The judge has yet to rule on the request.
