Mel C Speaks Out About Highly-Anticipated Spice Girls Return
If you grew up in the 90s, no doubt you LOVED the Spice Girls - and had a certain one you always dressed up as - whether you wanted to or not. (You can’t have 68 Baby Spice’s after all.)
Well when news broke that a 20th anniversary Spice Girls reunion was on the cards, many of us were excited out of our skins.
Finally, the girls were getting back together, and Geri, Emma and Mel B were the first three cabs off the rank to get on board, stating that they’d wait 12 months before staging a comeback.
Shortly after Victoria decided that she’d be shunning the group, but it was hoped the remaining four could make it happen.
However, according to a source that spoke to the Mirror, 'Mel C has been telling friends it's not happening – not for the anniversary and not next year.
'She's not interested in revisiting the band, and neither is Victoria.
Their decision has made it impossible for the other three to go ahead with plans to tour again.'
Earlier in the year, Mel C spoke to The Sun, saying it was unlikely she would rejoin the group. 'Mel C is out of the reunion for now. She has essentially left the band to focus on a more serious music career,' he said.
'She loves the girls but it just didn’t feel right for her to reunite with them at the moment.'
As for Viccy B? She’s all about the farshun, darling.
Her rep previously said: 'Victoria has been very respectful about the fabulous time they had together in the past, however her focus is now very much her family and fashion business.'
