The Grass Is Greener Announce Huge Festival Lineup

The grass is green for the Gold Coast & Cairns with the announcement of a huge festival lineup.

‘The Grass is Greener’ is a homegrown festival concept shaped by local producers, local suppliers with world-class talent and production in a setting unrivaled. This festival has gained a cult-like following up in far North Queensland over the past 4 years and now has its eyes set on our paradise shores of the Gold Coast. It’s not the only thing changing this year as festival owners Simon Coyle, Oli Frost, Johnny Eddings & Hugh Foster rain in one of the biggest headliners in recent years and one of the most talked about rappers of the moment, TYGA.

Fresh off a huge album release last week, TYGA joins a strong contingent of Australian talent including Amy Shark, Hermitude, Peking Duk, Golden Features, The Veronicas + much more.

Oli Frost says ‘it’s all about putting on great events in our own backyard.’ “For us, our name pokes fun at the age-old saying, ‘The Grass is Greener on the other side’, a saying implying that things would be better somewhere else. Instead,
TGIG is committed to supporting local talent in our very own backyard, to prove the grass is plenty green on the Gold Coast & far North Queensland”.

The festival is taking place on the sun-soaked grounds of the Broadwater Parklands located on the Gold Coast & The Cairns Showgrounds on the 19th & 26th of October respectively.

Tickets will be available from starting at $99.

With a lineup like this & limited capacity at both locations, it’s probably best to get in early so you don’t miss out.
