FIRST LOOK: Rihanna & Childish Gambino's film 'Guava Island'

The first footage of Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) and Rihanna's upcoming film project has dropped and it's got us wanting more – and asking a lot of questions.

A clip (see above) from the film reportedly titled Guava Island was today posted on Twitter by fan @purelylorde who happened to be attending Glover's PHAROS festival in New Zealand.

There's very little we know about the film, other than it stars Rihanna as Glover's love interest, plus Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie, and was directed by Hiro Murai, who also helmed Atlanta and Childish Gambino’s "This Is America" video.

As for what the movie is actually about – it's hard to say. In the clip shot in Cuba, Glover’s character states, "We live in paradise but none of us actually have the time or the means to live here."

Make of that what you will.

Until we get more, check out the clip above.
