Kylie's Costumes To Head To Perth In New Exhibition
It’s kind of appropriate that a new exhibition featuring some of Kylie Minogue’s costumes will be held at the WA Maritime Museum – because it’s gonna rock the damn boat.
While that pun was terrible, Kylie on Stage will be anything but.
More than 250,000 people checked it out in Melbourne and now it’s our turn to feast our eyes on the spectacular costumes and behind-the-scenes moments of a ‘Princess of Pop’ gig.
Alongside Minogue’s wardrobe, there will be a selection of designs, working drawings, photographs, and footage, giving us a rare peek behind the creative process curtain.
While the work of designers including Dolce and Gabbana, John Galliano, Julien Macdonald, Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier, as well as local designers such as Peter Morrissey and Mark Burnett will feature, there’s no word on whether THOSE famous Spinning Around gold hotpants will make a cameo.
Kylie on Stage opens at the WA Maritime Museum on Saturday 16 February 2019.
