Sam Smith Has Released A Video For "Too Good At Goodbye"

As you might have guessed, Sam Smith puts heartbreak on the forefront of his video for "Too Good At Goodbyes," which dropped on last week.

Directed by Luke Monaghan, the four-minute visual sees the pop crooner narrating his tale of a broken heart as clips of several couple’s flash in between scenes.

Smith also gets into the mix, acting out an emotional moment when he and an unseen lover must say goodbye to one another.

It's simple, but an effective clip to translate the emotions behind the song and EVERYONE can relate.

Speaking with Sir Elton John for the October issue of UK gay magazine Attitude, the 25-year-old pop crooner said that his team had to force him to get back into the recording studio after his own heartbreak.

"I almost felt as if I didn't want to do it anymore," Smith said in the October cover story, which features two special edition covers. "So, there were moments on there where it got a bit intense and I started to lose myself."

Later on in the interview, the pop legend asked Sam if he was scared he wouldn't be able to write again and the singer confessed that it was a very real fear of his.

"Yeah. I was just too sad," he admitted. "Then I started drinking a lot, going out too much and just not looking after myself."
