Best Of 2016 iHeartCountry Festival

Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Brett EldredgeChris Young, The Zac Brown Band, Bobby Bones, Thomas Rhett and more performed onstage during the 2016 iHeartCountry Festival at The Frank Erwin Center on April 30, 2016 in Austin, Texas.

Keith Urban is less than a week away from the release of his new album, Ripcord, so it was only expected that the former "American Idol" judge treat the 2016 iHeartCountry Festival viewers to cuts from his new LP on Saturday night (April 30).

Still, that doesn't mean the country superstar wasn't prepared to offer up some of his previous hits from the last half a decade or so.

To make the set that more special, Urban was introduced by Trent Harmon, the last crowning champ of the now-defunct singing competition. It would precede an evening full of stellar vocals and, of course, some killer guitar shredding.

Urban kicked the 25-minute performance off with 2014 hit, "Somewhere In My Car," before transitioning into his Ripcord single, "Wasted Time" and making his way through some Keith classics. From "Long Hot Summer" to "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16," it was a set tailored for your average Urban stan.
