GALLERY: iHeartCountry Album Release With Dierks Bentley

Dierks Bentley released his brand new album, The Mountain, on June 8th via Capitol Records Nashville, and the country star celebrated with an intimate group of fans during his iHeartCountry Album Release Party, performing new music from the record, as well as some fan favourites.

During his iHeartCountry Album Release Party, Dierks performed several songs from The Mountain including "Woman, Amen," "Living," "Burning Man," and "Can't Bring Me Down." But Bentley also gave fans some of his biggest hits from previous albums, going all the way back to his 2003 self-titled sophomore LP, performing, "What Was I Thinkin'," in addition to tracks like "Drunk on a Plane," "Somewhere On A Beach," "5-1-5-0," and more.

But aside from his amazing performance, during the show Dierks also opened up about his new album, talking exclusively to host Bobby Bones.

Dierks worked on 'The Mountain' in Telluride, Colorado, and explained that normally, he is used to a schedule, doing things like picking up his kids from school, etc. But that when it came time to put this album together, his wife encouraged him to get out of town. In Telluride, he was fully focused on his album, and less focused on things he'd normally be doing. He joked, "It was a way for me to basically work on a record and have a vacation at the same time."
