George Michael Dead At 53
Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.
He died on Christmas Day at a property in Goring, Oxfordshire, England.
It's understood the pop superstar "passed away peacefully", but there is no indication on the circumstances, other than the Thames Valley Police saying "they were not suspicious".
"It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period," his publicist said in a statement.
"The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional time. There will be no further comment at this stage."
