There aren’t many true tastemakers in music any more.

You know those people who would say “everyone should go and listen to this band” and then literally everyone goes and listens to that band. They used to exist on radio and in magazines, now, not so much.

But there are still a handful of people in music who have that level of sway with audiences and Harry Styles would surely be the biggest.

So when Harry took to BBC Radio’s Live Lounge and covered Wet Leg‘s Wet Dream, you just know that the band is about to get absolutely inundated with new fans.

Harry slipped in the indie cover between a bunch of cuts from his new album Harry’s House, and we’ve got to say, he kind of nailed it.

If you’ve not heard about Wet Leg, they are an English band that have been generating a lot of buzz since their viral hit Chaise Longue started popping off online in 2021.

But we reckon they’re about to hit new levels of massive after getting this big vote of confidence.

The English band reacted to the cover online, by tweeting a face-melting emoji then sharing this stitched TikTok.
